Prayer Christ Evans Archer 4/18/2014
I am 18 years old and waiting for any offer from university or offer from form 6 to continue my study. One thing that I concerned is to making a right and accurate decision. Whether to stay and continue my studies at my old school or move to another school.I don't know.I hope that I've already making a decision but everytime I think about that, I am scared.I don't know why.I try to convince myself about the decision that I make but I can't. I am asking for prayer here because I really hope that God will give me His answer and making it clear for me so then I can go with grateful heart.Thank You and Happy Sabbath.

Just keep praying and weigh your decision carefully. Remember, if God has a plan for you He won't forsake you, so don't worry.

Goody goody Bookworm19 1/17/2014
People at school regard me as a goody two shoes. Is it ok to be a goody goody, and what exactly would I even do to make me be a goody goody?

I've been through the same thing as you really. I know what it feels like to be "labelled", as I have been for the past couple of years. The one thing I regret though is trying to make a point by "conflicting" this label. I've started saying and doing stuff in order to win approval or make me seem like less of a Christian, I suppose.

Being an Example Mika 9/7/2013
So, this year is my Senior year in high school. And I was wondering if anyone had any ways or ideas for me to be an example or a leader.. for Christ. I do go to Adventist Academy but that doesn't stop me from wanting to show Christ still. So, any suggestions?

I kinda wonder the same thing. I'm an adventist academy too and a leader so I really understand how you feel. One thing I know you can do is to be willing to help with anything. When the staff ask for something to be done, be one of the first people to step up. Help other kids with their homework, holding doors open for everyone, be geninuely nice, and other things can really show.

High school shani 11/9/2012
Well I attend the adventist school in my area, my parents thought that it was best for me to go there since that I am one. I don't have a problem with the school it's just that the boys there are trying to make me get into stuff that I shouldn't even be doing like drinking and having sexual relationships (which are against the school rules.) What do you think I should do?

Tell a responsible adult if things get heated & you feel uncomfortable. But above all ; PRAY PRAY PRAY! Nothing beats the power of God. God Bless.

college A Nzeadibe 6/30/2012
So I am looking at Vanderbilt University and Cornell, but being able to Go to church and having a strong Adventist community is really important for me, which is why I am also considering Andrews. But what is better, Adventist or Regular College?

Hi! Check it out--we've done some special issues about college with articles about going to church schools and secular schools. I think the articles would be very helpful for you. E-mail me at insight@rhpa.org, and I'll get some copies to you in the mail.
