Have you ever felt that God didn’t know what He was doing in your life? What lesson did you learn from that experience?

First, I had Anorexia for 3 years, which I have just now fully recovered from. After that, I began having a rough go of it at school. I was never good at math and always had a very hard time understanding just fundamental basic math concepts (It took me 2 years to be able to learn to read a clock, and 4 years to just to memorize addition and subtraction. Still to this day, I am in high school and I don't know addition and subtraction by hard, I have to count on my fingers) My sister became very ill and had to be put on a lot of medications that had side effects that were worse than the actual disease. And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I injured my hip badly and had to be bedridden for 2 months, and now am going through rehabilitation for it. The healing process is very slow and I am still not able to walk that well. At first I was very upset with God, I didn't know why these things were happening and it seemed like he just didn't care. But I know that, just like Romans 8:28 says, " And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." God is trying to develop or characters. He is shaping us and molding us, and even though we may suffer here on earth, our reward in heaven is great.
- Re: God didnít know (Nov 28)from MUHUMUZA KAKARAMA MOSES, Dec 7 2014 5:11AM YES, it was in 2011 when i completed my Ordinary Level and i was to go to Advanced Level after becoming number third out of 430 students in my class in our National Examinations. My Dad fell sick and remained with no money to pay my school dues after clearing medical bills, so i had to sit back home for one full year. " Why is this happening to me?" i could i ask God, but in my prayers i told Him "I know you have a good plan for my life and show me where to take the next step". .After one year i won a scholarship which covered everything beginning from shopping upto my school dues. This experience helped me know that everything that happens in our lives, God has a good plan for us and we should always be patient as we wait on God's promises.
