Put yourself into the story of Daniel 1. What would it be like if this happened to you today, in 2012—being taken captive by an enemy nation or group and chosen to serve its leader? How would your faith come into play?

Wow! No way could i deal with that without God. I would go insane. I think I would just assume my life was over. one of those situations where your faith becomes the only thing you have. And all you need.

Effective problem solving requires the effecient use of resources. In other words using what you have to get what you need. When everything has been taken from you, what else do you have but faith?
