Is anyone else like this?

Ok so I'm not your average teen. I HATE fads and fashion, and anything to do with relationships, teenage drama, and anything teenagerish. Instead, I'm into medical science. I love to study and learn about the human body, and about all the different kinds of diseases and disorders. My friends and cousins all think I'm real weird and kinda "brainy," because I'm always telling them about interesting human body facts. And anytime one of my friends comes to tell me about anything "teenagerish," I'm not interesting in it at all. So I was just wondering, is there anyone out there like me? Sometimes I feel kinda all-alone, like I'm the only one that is so different from all the teens my age. So is anybody out there like me?

I agree with Wendy one hundred percent. And let me tell you, you are not alone. I'm one of you (: You just need to look for other teens who share the same interests. Or those who have the same interests will notice you. Stick to the books. They will get you far in life, more than you can image, with God right there with you.

I just want to say a big thank you to Mr. Tom for getting Omar Miranda's reponse to me, and a thanks to Mr. Miranda as well for responding to my question. Mr. Omar's response really encouraged me, and helped me to see that there is nothing wrong with me being different. thanks so much guys, your the best! :-)

just a word of encouragement. stay true to yourself and God. After all it's not a fashion or fad that will get you to heaven nor a boyfriend that will buy your education at Harvard.
