New Year is coming!

December 21, 2008

Christmas is coming.  We only have 3 more days until Christmas and then we will be getting ready to start a new year again. Can you believe that 2008 is already passed us by?  My son Brian is in his forth year of college and my baby girl Brittany is in her second year. They have had their challenges, but they have also had a good year over all. Do you feel that you had a good year? What would you change about 2008? Would you study more, read your bible more, or would you not change anything about 2008.

I personally would have loved to have lost a few pounds and worked out more to become in better shape. But most of all I wished that I would have spent more time with God and praying more.  It’s so easy to get busy and distracted by other things that we forget how important it is to take time for God. He desires for us to become close to him and share precious moments with Him through good and bad.

I don’t know what the New Year will bring for me or for you, but I know I want to put Christ first. He will always be there for us no matter what.

Take a moment and think about what kind of New Years resolution that you are going to make and try to see it through. No matter what kind of year you may have had, make this one better and let God lead you and be a part of your journey and it will. My wish for you for this coming New Year is that Christ will be in your life and that you will be blessed abundantly. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a wonderful and fulfilled New Year!
