Listen . . .

My saying anything isn't really worth much. My thoughts aren't going to change any of you, much less the world. Unfortunately, I once had the idea that they mattered and it has caused me much grief because I saw just about all of my ideas, hopes and dreams come to nothing.

Yet I am left and must have some purpose. What is this purpose? I don't know for sure. I can only say that our creator is rebuilding me. Not for any grand purpose as far as fame & fortune go, but simply because I exist; taking up a part of God's space and time.

Some surely have it better, much better than others in many respects but even they have days of wondering if this is all there is. The state of our world is not promising and to the degree you involve yourself to know why, it can be terribly overwhelming.

I say this to say that the only voice we can trust to tune completely into is the voice of God. My words can not do this for anyone. I can only encourage you to try what gives me some hope amid the hopelessness we often face. The gospel of Matthew, chapter 24 is of deep significance to all who want to have a better life one day because it tells of the dark days that we have to pass through before hand. The days we are CURRENTLY living in right now today.

I don't know where you are but if you are searching for some meaning, some help, some hope, chances are it won't be found here. Things are about to get really hectic. It's been building slowly but SURELY for years. The culmination of which, will be your decision for or against your creator. The beginning of the Matthew 24 begins with a warning not to be deceived. Deception is the greatest of ALL sorrows.

Learn to listen to the only voice that matters. The voice of your creator who will give you the truth and the love of it, to endure. One day, sorrow will be remembered no more but first we must endure it. Our heavenly father will help us bear them all until then. Be willing to listen to what he has to share with YOU!
